About NCPLE
The Maldives Police Service established the National College of Policing and Law Enforcement (NCPLE) on March 27, 2022, as the successor of Institute of Security and Law Enforcement Studies and the Police Academy, to provide relevant training and education for the police and law enforcement sector.
NCPLE aspires to achieve an operational and developmental advantage through cutting-edge tools, technology, and equipment, collaborative bilateral and multilateral agreements with local and international partner agencies, and ambitious human capacity development programs.
NCPLE's courses and training programs are designed to encourage Maldives Police Service to accomplish its strategic vision and policies. Furthermore, greater emphasis is placed on reflecting the essential idea of the Maldives Police Service transformation process in course curricula.
Programs offered by NCPLE are designed to provide law enforcement officers with knowledge and training that is both career-relevant and meets the high academic expectations of a changing world. NCPLE programs provide opportunity for law enforcement professionals to receive knowledge and practical experience in their future professional responsibilities, giving them a leg up in their professions.
