The Speed Boat Driving Course, conducted by the Center for Public Safety and Security Studies, officially commenced on 09 August 2026 with 15 participants.

Designed for Marine Police personnel and individuals seeking to build a career in the field, the course provides best-practice training in speedboat operation and safe navigation. With sea transport playing a vital role in policing across the Maldives, the programme aims to standardize the knowledge and practical skills required for safe, effective, and professional speedboat operations within law enforcement institutions.
