Commencement of Special Constabulary Basic Training Course - 9

The National College of Policing and Law Enforcement, Addu Campus, today inaugurated the 9th Special Constabulary Basic Training Course.

The opening ceremony was officiated by the Head of Registration and Student Services, Chief Inspector of Police Mohamed Ahmed Rasheed, who attended as the Chief Guest.

A total of 22 Special Constabulary Officers, comprising 16 male and 6 female officers, commenced the four-week training programme designed to strengthen their knowledge, skills, and professional standards.

The course curriculum includes Physical Training and Lifestyle Fitness, Drill, Use of Force and Defensive Techniques, Law, Communication and Policing, Security Skills, and Life-Saving Skills, covering Basic First Aid and Basic Fire Control.

The programme aims to equip Special Constabulary Officers with the essential competencies required to effectively support policing duties while promoting discipline, professionalism, teamwork, and public service.
