Commencement of the Blues Re-Training Program

The Blues Re-Training Program officially commenced on 18 July 2026 at the National College of Policing and Law Enforcement, Dh. Vaanee Campus. Led by the NCPLE Center for Public Safety and Security Studies, the five-day program brings together 98 police officers from the South Central Police Region for a comprehensive professional development initiative.

The program consists of the following core modules:
* Internal Ethics, Digital Transformation and AI
* Operational Policing
* Scenario-Based Training
* Case Studies
* Team Building Exercise

Throughout the five-day program, participants will engage in interactive discussions, scenario-based exercises, case study analyses, and team-building activities aimed at improving critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork in operational policing environments.

This program marks a historic milestone as the first-ever Blues Re-Training Program conducted within the Maldives Police Service (MPS), reflecting the organization’s continued commitment to professional excellence, innovation, and continuous learning. It further demonstrates the Maldives Police Service’s dedication to developing a highly skilled, ethical, and future-ready workforce capable of effectively addressing contemporary policing challenges while maintaining the highest standards of public service and professionalism.
